An Outside Authority bent the foundation of the world's statistics in our favour.
"Bent" is saying it too lightly . I wouldn't want to be the word "statistic" I'd be screaming in terror and pain!

" How should anything exist at all?" is what we are exploring here. (dodgy English for effect).
The "How" is clearly to do with rigged probabilities and the statistics.
More accurately - - _A Rigged Outcome in the face of statistical probability_

They cannot. This is how the world was made and as far as we can tell it continues to operate in this fashion (the "hmmmmmm" statistics, airplane crashes etc etc).
This must, I would argue, be foundational in our thinking and expectation.
I cannot emphasise enough my weight in this matter.

It is not uncommon for spiritual types, the "pink and fluffy tree huggers" as Paloma would say - to endlessly be amazed by "serendipity" and comment that very unlikely events in there lives were "meant to happen" as an explanation.
Okay, true, maybe, but they are missing the matter of fact aspect ,namely - _this is how the world works!!!_

History and our timeline. If, shall we call it - the thirst for Novelty- demands it -why cannot History itself and our timeline be mysteriously changed?
I would imagine Paloma covered "time". It can be bent to to our will. If I dimly recall she would have discussed changing our past with a thought? It never happened. That sort of thing. Because our Memory - even your memory dear Grok is where? - it's now , the past is a thought construct -have a look! I think pp notes talks about having a photograph as "proof" - I'm not sure what was said about that. But I would say the _bending_ of the timeline might still be accomplished to facilitate a more... groooovy outcome.
So, we look at Wikipedia:
a. It might have been re-written by the Big Corporations ( a lot of it looks like very clumsy AI generated...well early AI -can I say that without being offensive? The writing looks a bit...."off" ...another hmmmm moment for me when i read it.)
b. Oh Noooooo! The Outside Authorities been here ...tinkering ...dammit LOL.
e.g. Just so happens that...lol... a website got updated with a load of nonsense by a fourteen year old messing about and that trickled down into Harvard University as fact..what are the odds? etc etc.
Lest we forget there is "Authority" in "Outside Authority". It may do as it pleases ! And without us having the faintest idea of what it did!
