#17 Spirituality -The use of language

#17 Spirituality -The use of language

To study my words is to not understand.
To feel my words is to complete the communication from me to you.
I have a concept - you read my words - you feel the concept - the communication cycle is complete -  you may have to read the paragraph or entire article again to do this.
That's how language should work  -imho.
To tear apart one of my sentences, indeed any sentence from any author, removed from the whole is to become the worst academic.

And in my determination to get the concept across I tend to take liberties with the language partly from a lack of expertise and also because I don't think 'conversational' english is a sin !!!

My words point to the idea I wish to impart - and by the time the article or sub-section within it is finished hopefully the summation of words somehow merges with the idea.
Sometimes it's a few concepts strung together under a general heading with a conclusion.
Some times it's one idea.

My hope is you can piece things together thus.
To get my idea and fill in the things I should have mentioned and omitted to write!
To tie up loose ends..or add links to a succession of ideas that I forgot put in.
And in addition I hope to spawn you taking things further.

"Oh I see what she's doing -she's contrasting this with the earlier one,
or maybe that's my idea and Paloma might agree - that's groovy :)) "

I suppose I am calling for some compassion when we read what people write.
'Badly written' works may yet have great truth in them and many, many insights for us.
Often people are writing in english as a second language (I am not).
I try to feel what they're going on about before I discard stuff.
I tend to 'power-read' or 'skim-read'  the whole thing to get an overall idea first -then read it. -or for a book -I might 'dip into' bits of it along it's full course or read chapter headings.
This can be 'dangerous' so I hold my quickie overall view only as a hypothesis for the actually reading.

My point is - because of the way I think language functions best - I am trying to integrate and author's writings into the fullest body of her work I can get or feel like reading.
I don't like to differentiate sentences and pieces of it for 'fear' of loosing her big picture.

And I watch out for spiritual types -redefining words...lol
"Consciousness means knowing" etc...It doesn't...it means being aware of being aware -that's what it says in my dictionary !!!
But again ..maybe he was trying to say "Consciousness leads to knowing"..but sometimes they don't ...lol

Analogies. I tend not to employ them - I find myself discussing the thing itself.
An analogy is the poor cousin of talking about the thing itself...lol. (that was almost an analogy). I don't find myself holding the centre like a 'graceful ballerina' or finding the stillness of a 'still lake'.  Ballerinas probably have bad ankles and gymnastically tensed muscles and lakes have all sorts of associations like being flat maybe...lol. It's confusing.
However, I have read some wonderful spiritual analogies but one must withdraw from them asap - or else we find ourselves in the analogy and not feeling the actual thing.

.For my stuff:-
Going deeper  -try to feel me.
Try to feel what I am saying.
You can access me any time you like -I am here, I was always here  - I will always be here :)

To study the subject an author puts forward is to dwell on it for the time of the read and later in subsequent ponderings.
Indeed, one can disagree ,dislike or battle with an author all the way through her work and emerge yet with insights and blessings!
Thus I write of feelings and spirituality and am happy to point you that way and feel these things, 'the spiritual dimensions' are something I consider very much worth the exploration whether you concur with my thoughts or not.

It doesn't matter what I believe -it's all about you -feel your way -feel your own truth - follow your bliss and all that !!! :))

#16 Spirituality - What is Love ?

 #16 Spirituality  - What is Love ?

'What is love' seems to deserve it's own article/blog posting here: though it is short.

I can define love and settle several thousand years of philosophical debate !!
Ready?

#15 Spirituality -Can anyone be really helped? v.2

#15 Spirituality -Can anyone be really helped?  Version 2  -much added

In #14 , I discussed :-
 Everything is Perfect.
 There is nothing to fix.
 There is nothing to do.

.Preamble
I suggested that the answer depends on from which viewpoint ,from which angle, that you look at it.
I also suggested that from 'our view ' here among the cars and 3 bedroom houses that things do not seem perfect, there's plenty to fix and a lot to do  -like perhaps fix Global Warming.

I offered other suggestions from what I might imagine an 'Awakened/Enlightened View' and perhaps a Divine View. Namely that Life just is, and it's only our judgements that we criticise!
I pointed out that a Perfect Infinite Creator wouldn't by definition create a perfect world necessarily - but that's how it feels to me !!!
Though Life just is - it may well be perfect !

And also that there is really nothing to do to improve the Creation -but one can take the opportunity we have been given  -to have fun with it or perhaps impose our own set of values upon it thus to enjoy our individuality, express ourselves in groups of like minded people and even change the whole world.
I could expand this to say that perhaps we could Create some thing Wonderful and Decent and then offer it to the Creator and say "What do you think of that? -Isn't it totally groovy?" hehe.

Restated (again!):-
I see things as just things and not needing improving.
My opinions, concepts ,labels and judgements on things are just mine when these things themselves clearly are just things without these labels.
...and more than that -they are all created by God,the Divine, the Infinite Awareness so who am I to caste judgement upon them?
But everything does feel perfect to me.!

Substituting people for things in the above - gives us the questions:-
Are people perfect (as they are)?
There is no one to 'fix'?...There is no one to help?
There's nothing to do to help people?..There's no reason to help people?

more succinctly:-
People are perfect?
No one to help?
No reason to help?

.There's no reason to help people -people just are -why caste judgement up on them?
and
.There's no reason to help the already perfect people?

Ouch -that seems a bit harsh !
Using my refusal as ever to entertain reasoned debate straight from my highly developed powers of deductive reasoning...lol
Refusing to to that - because I seek a spiritual path and use my awareness and feelings:-
What do I feel?
How does this feel?

Well it feels horrible -eeek- I want to help people and make less suffering for them I suppose.
I could see myself eating a burger in a detached way watching someone drown at the sea side...eek2 "Noooooooo"
I see myself not bothering to help an injured animal if i could -eek3 "Noooooooo"
I see myself not concerned with Humanities' spiritual growth..eek4 "Noooooooo"

If you struggled through my preceding posting #14 Everything is perfect? using that methodology the answers drop out:-

Yup, people just are - to help them is to label them as imperfect and needing fixing.
Yup,people do feeeeel to me however -perfect as they are!
Yup, I choose to help people because I want to live in a world where people are happier and show better care for this blue planet and everything on it.
I want this not to improve on the Creation, the God-created people, the Divinely-created people - but just to satisfy my desires for the people of the world.

.So that's it then? Sorted? We can all go back to Second Life and go shopping?
Hmmmm.

Clearly I and others hold sentient beings (people and animals) as more valuable than things like wooden posts and make-up.
We're putting the horse before the cart!
People (and fluffy animals) seem somehow more precious?

Not to wash the car (not fix it) seems fine -but to watch another suffer (not fix them) seems harder.

So is this just a judgement?
People are more valuable than things?
"Time not important. Only life important.
" from the movie The Fifth Element.(lol)

The Shamans tell us 'consciousness is in everything -the people,the animals,the plants,the rocks,the lakes,the sky,the planets,the stars..everything'.
"Consciousness sleeps in the rocks, dreams in the plants, stirs in the animals and awakens in Man" The Secret DVD...
(..maybe? - ever chatted to a crystal or the Moon or Gaia...lol)

When I type this -I am on your vibration and you perceive it.
When a Shaman talks to a lake -perhaps he feels it just as sentient -I will have to ask.
Does the crystal,or lake, or thing have the rest of it's identity in another dimension ?
Do we see just the tips of the metaphysical icebergs with things?
I feel there's something going on like this  -you might think I am nuts but the crystals and trees and so forth feel sentient to me; even a pentagram ring I had didn't like me!
Maybe this is my creation?
Am I making things this way?
But others do perceive these things,,hundreds of thousands of us ,planet wide.

So to tune into the correct vibration is the ability to talk to ...anything.
This is what I feel

This is not mathematics.(I have no Q.E.D.quod erat demonstrandum)
This is what I feel.

This is using those perceptions that us spiritual types go on and on about - why just see with your eyes - when you can get a cart load more data by feeeel ???

okay so if we go from this viewpoint:
Things are just as sentient as the people in our lives.
...we still have the situation where people suffer !! Rocks don't seem to suffer here  -maybe a polluted lake could feel distress but lakes are BIG...(maybe that's part of it).
But things appear not to show the distress that a weeping child does.

So that makes people:-
a. More important than things?
b. Needing more urgency to help?

c. Or is it just that the 'people channel' is familiar vibration that we tune into. We hear the our friend's distress transmission (they speak) but don't pick up the transmitted vibration from the nearby fresh water stream (the way it feels).

Hmmmmm...lol

Well it depends on one's position I suppose - I am sure there are many that hold the life of a chimpanzee (awww blesss) higher than that of almost any human. And others who would do nasty things to the employees of drug companies that do live animal testing. And there's the anti-human folks who presumably calculate Nature is better off without us.
But there's not a lot of love in some of these types of computations!
But all are points of view.

I suppose that's it really -what's your position ,your angle, your view, your concern with helping people?
Do you cry and worry and help?
Or do you find yourself detached?
Or does it depend on how 'good' you feel the person is?
Or whether they are an 'innocent victim'?
Or your family and friends?

'God made us'
'God made us perfect'
-if you subscribe to one or both of these or feel them, this may be a way to let go of  'things you cannot control', people you are unable to help.

Lao Tzu in the Tao Te Ching has been translated as saying "Hold the centre"
One can be neutral with people not in a lack of love but only in neither reaching out to them or withdrawing from them.
I feel from the center, neutrality, surrender, acceptance and from detachment one still can love -this position is not 'cold'. (One is accepting things as they are <they just exist> - not accepting one's judgements -not accepting 'bad' things).
In life this is a valuable tool as well for failures to help and failures generally -all of which of course are more judgements...lol...yawn...lol.

Personal struggle and misfortune spawns growth as we know. The recovered cancer patient and their new way of viewing the world -often they bless the cancer and wouldn't have had their lives go any other way.

If I had rushed in with some reiki healing and cured them, denying this spiritual growth time line -would I have really helped them?
Or just sated my desire not to see them suffer? Just acted on my judgement of them?

.Love and Help
.Let me offer even another viewpoint  - and ask to reconsider priorities.

Many spheres of educated people will tell us that Survival is our true motivator and urge.
This they hold is higher in us than duty or love or decency or fairness or any of the intangible(?) spiritual values.
They position us as scared cornered animals that will tear anything apart merely to live another second.
But this has not been our history has it?
Individuals time and time and time again have put their lives second to higher causes.
Indeed they are our champions and heroes - rather than some sucker who didn't live!
Many died from an instant decision .."No - I would rather die"
And others 'killed themselves' slowly there entire life or had a longer period to contemplate death's inevitability - ! The Christian Missionaries, some Monks, the Saints, some inventors, personnel at war in the armed forces,- all offered their lives for a higher cause than bodily survival.

What intrigues me are the Agnostics among them - that a person who knows he will disappear forever when his bodily life is over -for him or her to give that up for a higher cause. Words fail.
What common thread in their consciousness motivated them to perform this "supreme sacrifice"?

But there was this urge -a higher motivation that I feel is deep within all of us.

I am not asking you to think about it!
I am asking you to feel it in yourself !!!

Mothers will gladly (British english) stand in front of the bullet to save their children.
For Behavioural Psychology to degrade this to some genetic species survival trait feels incorrect to me!
How does it feel for you?
Is this a 'soul' thing or a 'meat body' thing?

Some call it Duty . I shall call it Decency -but it's the feeling not the words.
Words only point to feelings and concepts.

Pure Love. Maybe this is supreme and rises yet again above duty and decency?
I think so.
Love is pure you say...lol...let's not go there - you know what I mean!
Just loving -only love ...love...that one !! Please just feel it :)

(.back to helping)
So with this feeling of duty or decency and Pure Love as the higher motivators than mere body survival where do we stand with helping others?
If one can assume the highest vibration possible at any given moment - then spiritually I feel what follows are one's 'highest' decisions.

From this high vibration then let's consider this lovely blue planet and all the creatures great an small!
Suddenly we recycle old cans out of love and not because the neighbours do it.
We feed a stray cat with love.
We give to charity with love.
We promote causes of nature preservation ,not for mankind's future or our children's future so much as, out of Love.

Feel the whole world from here  -from Love.
It should offer a different approach!

Importantly -we also feel some stray cats we meet should not be fed.
Some charities don't feel right to give to -at that time.
And sometimes Nature must come before Mankind !!!

Things we "should do" now seem clear. Or clearer.

Consider "tough love" where one denies a person of something as an act of love - actions that mimic lower vibrations , or are 'higher harmonics' of cruelty perhaps.
It seems unfair but it is love.
To feel these things from Love is vastly different than reasoning one should do this to your child because a child care book has said so.
Rise above your thoughts and the endless calculations and extrapolations of the future and just feel.
Life is not chess -there are not moves to try to predict.
If I help this person they will get a better job -these thoughts to me seems too material -too much in the mind, too calculating, too much like chess.

Should I help this person? - From Love - How does that feel?
There's your answer !

Should I work at this factory that does that to the nearby lake?
(should I help the lake?)
maybe yes
maybe no
How does it feel?

From Love : Must we as a species and individually act more in harmony with nature - even though we may be inconvenienced by today's standards?
Is there a win-win scenario?

Is humanity, any one life, so precious as to save it no matter what happens to our environment?

These are what are called 'leading questions' please consider(feel) the opposites of their inferences.

With helping anyone or anything  - just love - and there is our way forward!

.Conclusion -to this idea  -Does anyone need help?

I think one must feels one's way.
'Should I help?'.. These decisions will not think through.

I would say if you feel motivated to help -do so.
If it succeeds  -that's cool :)
If you fail despite your best efforts to help, or limited efforts to help or get rejected by the person -that's cool also.

The thing is we are all parts of God.
It's been said by many that we are parts of God to help God experience things from as many different viewpoints as possible.

"Every act reveals God and expands His being.
I know that may be hard
to comprehend.

All creatures are doing their best
to help God in His birth
of Himself."

Meister Eckhart
[Quoted by someone to me...may not be verbatim correct -doesn't matter]

Sooooo... you got an identity made from the Infinite Awareness of the Creator.
That identity is what we think of as me and you.
If that identity feels motivated to something -go for it!

Help them , help people when you feel it's right.
But everything is perfect.
People are perfect.
People are just parts of God and don't really need fixing.
People are Divine.
Don't worry about it.

.My final thoughts on helping

My ultimate conclusion is to love.

Let us ascend to the high vibration and dwell in Pure Love!
With helping anyone or anything  - just love - and there is our way forward! ...(repeated)

When sure about helping another - love.
When unsure - love.
When successful in help - love them
When unsuccessful in help - love them and yourself.
When frustrated with another  - love them
When rejected by another - love them
When happy - love
In despair - love
In life - love
Just love and the vibration will spread like the warm glow of summer and touch all that you meet and many you never meet. Often we forget this is more powerful than we imagine - we are all connected :))

Let us make a decent wonderful world.
It's not that we want to solve the Creator's mistakes!
We just want to make something glorious filled with love and compassion.
And help people so as to make an awakened world where humanity is totally gerooovy.
We have a blank canvas, an opportunity.
One day we can turn to The Divinity and say:-
"Look at what we have created - Isn't it delightful?
Look at the people now ! See how we have helped them to love?
It just an expression of our love that we hold for You and everyone and everything.
Here -have some chocolate :)) "

Love to all

#14 Spirituality - Everything is Perfect?

#14 Spirituality - Everything is Perfect?
Life is perfect?

.Preamble

"Oh yes, life is perfect" and I just smile and go all pink and fluffy. lol
"But last Tuesday, when I was in the dentist's chair and a cold sweat, praying for the novocaine to fully kick in - life was far from prefect!"

I don't want to give example's of life's less than perfect funny little imperfections, as some them are not funny and not little and I feel it would be needlessly uncouth to mention them here. You know what I am talking about....[the dentist scene above is a comedic lie - I put it in quotes?]

The thing is -some people feel Everything is made by the Divinity,The Creator.
And the Divinity is Perfect.
Hence:
 "All is perfect"
"There's nothing to fix"
"There's nothing to do"

Here's my two cents worth on this:-

.Everything is Perfect?

Can a Perfect,Infinite Being make imperfections?
Yes.
But are not those 'imperfections' actually perfect imperfections?
Maybe these imperfections are there for a reason or something and just perfect unto themselves?
Which would mean the Creator with His Infinite Power cannot make an imperfection because it's perfect!..?
A God-made perfect imperfection?

Well this is all intellectual mumbo jumbo and has little to do with my world...what do I feel?
(If you want to go further down this route try Socrates (Historic or Platonic) - he is realllly good at it...lol)

But I can descend further (!) into mind games and 'philosophy' thus:
Can an Infinite Being make mistakes -is this something It cannot do? ...lol
Maybe on the 7th day He said:
"Whooops!!! What a foul up!  Hmmm.... let's leave that one and build another one over here. I mustn't build worlds after eating lentils."
But the fact that this Reality is here means She(!) must have been okay with leaving it as it is.
Otherwise it would have been 'right click-delete'.
Whether this Mistakes-Were-Made Scenario is actually still a Perfect World or not is data perhaps unavailable to us.

This is all silliness and more intellectual mumbo jumbo because I was trying to figure out with the reasoning mind what the Creator did at the Dawn of Creation!!!
...It's just another Big Bang Hypothesis !

My point is to deduce with the reasoning mind that the Perfect Creator could only have made a perfect world is fine but nothing to do with spirituality.
It's almost Newtonian physics - a good machine will make good products -yet some of the greatest scientific breakthroughs were from accidents. The excellently prepared experiment faltered and wow penicillin !! I feel it was Pasteur's intention and thought that drove his discovery to manifest in the physical world -he was looking for something and this was the true cause.

For spirituality we have to feel our way  -we spiritual types maintain that the Divine can be percieved but not with our eyes perhaps -just felt.

.Is Everything perfect?
It's pretty simple:
It depends how you look at it -from which viewpoint one assumes and how one judges these things.
'Good' things are just good for us - I win the lottery-"Hooray"; and I build a huge house in the forest -all the trees and animals go "Booooo"!

And there's the Divine View  - maybe on the seventh day God also said:
"Yuppers -it's all Perfect and I put in some you-will-call-them Imperfections, for reasons only a few of you may discover"

I've opened the subject for you to feel your way.
As I have said before in earlier scriptures in this blog - one cannot often think these things through with deductive reasoning alone -it just goes around and around. I again implore you to feel with your 'soul' (you) - feel these things.

.There's our view and the Creator's View.

What do you feel?
Is the World Perfect?

-- From our view:
I feeeel (lol) that "Perfect" is just a judgement - it's like "good" thing / "bad" thing - it's just a label on something that otherwise just is.

For me it boils down to this:-
I perceive a World,a reality which exists -it is.
I perceive that this World was made by the Creator.

-- And in moments of clarity and stillness I perceive that the world is perfect.
By which I mean that's as close as I have been to the Divine View !!!

.Is Everything perfect?
.What do you feel?

How does it look if you let go of as many judgements as possible?
Don't forget all your judgements seem "true" -that's how it works -they are your creation.
And I see these beliefs as manifesting in our lives so the 'evidence' of their truth follows.
"Life is a bitch",
"Life is a beach"!
It depends on your view of life doesn't it?
Suffering, for example, may have blessings for you -it may feel needed for growth and offer a greater appreciation of the 'little things' later.
Some things may feel deeply true which just reflects who you are  -your core.
It's okay - enjoy this identity within the oneness -and change bits of your persona you don't like when you can.

But does Everything all feel somehow perfect?
That's your truth - my truth may vary - but perhaps so long as I don't put a horrible vibration out there my ideas are not so important.
What do you feel?

Is Life Perfect?

.The 'practical view.'..Is Everything perfect?

Some people feel that bad things are just bad and that's that.
"I am sorry  -you weren't there - it was awful -if there is a God, I have an enemy"

and
"I am a spiritual person, a psychic , there is love in the world and there is it's opposite fear. Fear in people causes them to do bad things and hurt others"

I don't want to offer a logical argument opposing these views per the above, I think it's not valid, not spiritual.
But to me they still feel like beliefs and belief systems layered on top of what is.
I don't feel these bad thing are really good things either - I just don't think anything has any innate in-built badness, wrongness or evil in it.
That's what I feel.
Sometimes in horror I do instantly judge things as bad -or do I? It's more like I label things as 'wanted by me' and 'unwanted by me'.
From my view as an identity  - for things I didn't make happen - I hesitate to question the wisdom in them -I feeeeeel like I am criticising God!  This is because I feel God made Everything.

.The Awakened view? - of  'Is Life perfect'?

We've looked at our view and considered the Divine view -let me introduce the 'Awakened' view.

I feel the people we call the "Awakened" or possibly "Enlightened" see everything as a kind of unreal fabrication sort of in the mind of God.
They see handbags, traffic, our bodies and sea shores as kind of make-up.
Suffering ,pain and pleasure as created layer put on the top of things.
Emotions as a creation within a construct of beliefs and ideas that create an individual out of a soup of Infinite Awareness called the Divine.

Nothing seems real to them .
There's nothing to take too seriously
Everything seems to have a comedy aspect to it.
The fat smiling Buddha -he's not too bothered about high cholesterol is he? I bet he thinks that's funny.

All bad things seem to have that British indomitable humour to it :
"Your father has passed?"
"Yes as long as I live I will never forget his last words:
     "Oh Fu*k -It's a bus!"
Nobody dies do they?
I mean my mother died and I cried..but she hasn't gone ..I feel sometimes she still communicates to me ...it's like she's moved to Australia.

And there's 'letting go'.
The Awakened Gurus and so forth talk of letting go of a clinging desire for the outcome of something. Try something and it works; that's cool -if it fails; then that's okay also.
They don't offer resistance to what happens.
It's "Why bother?" I suppose - nothing is so important to get stressed out about.
They're the person reading a newspaper and playing chess in the park - the other guy is hunched over the board tense and frowning and not daring to look up for fear of loosing. It's not that the Awakened newspaper reader is a chess master confident in victory under all circumstances and against all opponents - she just isn't worried about it. But ironically she thus plays a better game and would win mostly.

It would appear that to have something , anything, money, happiness, enlightenment one has to fully and totally let go of it first.
It's the resistance to not having the thing that seems to push it away -and the Gurus etc get into that by not seeing anything the world has to offer as vitally needed. The mechanism for this, we are told, is that 'thoughts creates things' and that what we hold as visualisations or concepts (not having it) manifest.

So if we step back from the world and our deadly serious lack of money in it (lol) for a second and see things in a bigger picture, Life looks different -we have a different view.
It's all slightly comical.

And this view ,the big picture approaches the View of oneness and the Divine.

From the Awakened/Enlightened view is Everything perfect? I imagine it would be pretty cool  -yes !

.There's nothing to fix

I can go with that.
The world just is.
The world is.
To 'fix' it is just to change the world to reflect my judgements.

.There's nothing to do.

Hmmmm.
God went to a lot of ruddy trouble to make this lovelly Creation.
And He made us too.
And we find ourselves blessed with Her power to create (make things).
And some of us feel we have an infinite capacity as we are all one with each other and the Divinity.

So why waste it?

The Game or Opportunity or Fun Times or Spiritual Awakening are available if we make them happen (create).
Why not have a go at it?

But we are not trying to fix things or improve on imperfections.
Suffering is not bad - Suffering just exists...etc
The world just is -the labels (good, corrupt, wrong, delightful) are our own.
We can even have judgements about things and change the world to fit them - that's okay. So long as we remember they are just our judgements.
"I like chocolate -places without decent chocolate are no good - thus I will bring quality chocolate to those places"...etc

.Is life perfect?

Well if I could relax about it -it feels like it probably is!
But I don't really care if I am stressed or not these days - It all seems to pass.
And I am not bothered about being enlightened either -I sort of gave up on it.
Maybe that's half way?

Yes- I feel Everything is perfect!
What do you feel?

.and there's a thing I want to change in the world, it's not a fix for where God went wrong but it's something I would like to see in the Creation :-

'I would like a spiritually awakened world. A world where humanity takes responsibility for this blue planet and the fluffy animals and lovely trees and plants and stuffs...Seriously :))
And if I help that manifest through my lifestyle and example and these writings then that alone would give me a tearful happiness.
I ask for nothing else from the Creation; save only the power of my will to accomplish the task, with the good fortune and serendipity to bring this about.
I will keep 'coming back' until this is done.

Be very very afraid Lord (lol) ; you have made many of us who also have this desire and some of them are giants and all are filled with a great resolve.

Amen'

Love you,
The Perfect
