#9 Spirituality - Let me show you God !!!
FIRST DRAFT
The most 'disturbing' thing I have stated in these postings is possibly:
'Perception and creation. I think they are linked. I actually think they really are the same thing.
But that's a bit of a mind bender if one imagines that Everything one perceives - one creates.
But that may well be what's actually happening'.
and second is:
'But it's all a belief anyway -the whole world is a belief in our minds' .
And the third most 'disturbing' thing is
I feel there is lots and lots of scientific and metaphysical spooky stuff as compelling evidence that we have a potentially infinite capacity
And to be infinite in potential is to be Everything really and believe one is not Infinite.
Where Everything is in 'the mind of God'
(infinite awareness/the universal mind/The Tao)
The persona or identity -the Jane Doe would be a belief system - a creation within the whole possibly just for the fun of it!
This is called 'oneness' atm. We are 'waves in the sea' . 'Bubbles within infinite awareness'
Sand castles in the sand.
(....The mathematical analogy is 'we are sub-sets of God'.)

But logically perhaps the "three disturbing things I have written" fall in this order:
1. oneness. we are all part of The Infinite Awareness and have it's infinite potential to create.
2. Everything is our dream. Everything,the whole World, Everything and Everybody is just an idea in our minds or consciousness.
3. To perceive is to simultaneously create Everything, to make it all up as we go along.
I could summarise these three concepts as:
4. Everything and Everyone, in the waking world is like one of our dreams - we just create it as we go along.
We have come full circle back to Rene Descartes' "Could life be a dream - as dreams seem so real?" [not a verbatim Descartes quote]
This is what we do in a dream -we just make it all up as we go along -the things, the people, everything.
Some dreams may be viewed as visiting other dimensions -I don't mean those!
Two Viewpoints: Infinite Awareness and a Human.
Infinite Awareness : Clearly from this point of view 4.(Life is a dream) is valid:
Everything is created by Me in My imagination.
Things are not created outside of Me, Infinite Awareness, because I embrace Everything: that's what Infinite Things are - all including.
Human: From my point of view, I got a keyboard in front of me and a strong desire for a cup of coffee.
4.(Life is a dream) is unreal - from the viewpoint of the Human Being.
Important note: definitions of "God"-
I sometimes default to using the word "God" for oneness the Infinite Awareness Thingie that is Everything.
My excursion into definitions of my 'God' within the english language and physical world go like this:-
"God" can mean funny and strange things when viewed from within the many religions
I am not defining God as someone who smites the greedy or judges the sinner or blesses his devotees.
My 'God' here is entirely neutral.
Certainly not male or female !!!
In fact to say this God is 'a being' or even 'being' is sort of less than i mean.
I don't even have my God here as - loving.
And not really - watching.
Maybe - witnessing.
My 'God' here the Infinite Everything just - is.
But even that seems a bit too much.
But I can't really say The Infinite Mind isn't female,isn't male, doesn't love,watch or witness either !!!
I am defining 'God' as without definition !
- which intellectually and academically is almost useless. Although a banana can't really be defined -can it? ...a 10,000 year old banana -is that still a banana? etc ....
'God is a banana' ... you are thinking that aren't you?...hehehe
From the Tao Te Ching + Paloma Porta:
God is defined in dictionaries and defined all over the place!!!
The Tao is the fabric of this 'defined God'.
I am not sure about this bit..."The Tao" is a wonderful way to express the Infinite Hugeness Thingie; but as I have said ,for me, it has the 'doctrine'(??) of the Tao Te Ching behind it where the Sage seems to have rejected ambition and academia as foolish and walks as a drifting bumpkin.
I know people that are very plugged in and switched on who have 'confessed' to having their sleeves rolled up to spread the word and make huge amounts of cash. Ironically those that live the Tao often work very hard at promoting it !!! Like I said before -maybe I need to read the Tao Te Ching again and besides Lao Tzu actually sat down and wrote the thing - maybe it's a book to open our eyes? I am no academic myself neither do I intend to read what academics think about it ! Forgive me -there are proper experts I can ask ! :)
'Infinite Awareness' is the best definition for what I mean by 'God' that I have seen within the english language.
1. 'Infinite Awareness' fits nicely with us each as individual consciousness within Infinite Awareness -consciousness means (in the english dictionary) - aware of being aware.
2. 'Infinite Awareness' is not really doing anything.
That's the best I can do for definitions of my 'God', with words...read on!

Remember I have discussed in earlier posts ANOTHER whole range of perceptions available to us?

To find God - Infinite Awareness - look within yourself.
Look at a neutral object - a tree is a good one.
Just be aware of it.
What are you feeling?
That's God !!!
That's Infinite Awareness.
That's You !!!

5. We as a human or identity or consciousness, are actually just a creation within ourselves - within Infinite Awareness.
Mini-me is an idea within Me.
