They spend their lives, lying,cheating, stealing, manipulating for their own gain, survival. I'd argue they are organic machines that have a very dim "Spark". Goats have more spark, a flower even - they are machines that run on survival programs in their heads. "Pleasure seekers" They go to work, drink wine in front of the television, get married have children, grandchildren and die. At no point do they consider "Truth ,Life, The Universe and everything. The "Factory Workers". I can include some Doctors, Lawyers, Pilots, University Professors as well as security guards and shopkeepers. They seek pleasure only. More stuff: cars, houses, more free time- more money. Pleasure seekers. "The Religious" They follow a Belief System. They swallow a set of dogma and "go to church on Sundays". They do it maybe because they feel they "should" or maybe because they had some sort of revelation. But it doesn't run deep and they certainly don't seek to evangelise. "The Spiritual" These have seen the merits of a Belief System and want get deeper into it and often evangelise. The Jehova's Witnesses come to mind- they are moved to study their Bible daily, go to church and knock on my door on Saturdays! The Witches, Pagans perhaps. At the "advanced" end they include those Witches with the sun/moon tattoo on their foreheads. "Truth Seekers" These are people prepared to make the painful leap to jettison their core beliefs. It's a spectrum also. Ex-Catholics come to mind - for example dissolving "Catholic Guilt" is quite a process and not for the faint hearted. Here we find people that give up their lives in search of Truth. They meditate, they read new Scripture. They do their best to leave old ideas behind and start again. Whatever the Truth is - they want it. "The Enlightened" Advanced Truth Seekers. They've gone through the pain and established some Clarity. It's not that they have found "the actual truth" it's just that they have put in the miles and not gone back to seeking pleasure. They worked at it hard, often for decades and got a result. Some have found a Clarity , others a very very good mental understanding, some a combination of both. *So - Is Humanity worth saving?* A lot of people are not trying to save themselves, or even help themselves. They are not interested in really discovering how to improve their lives. Others are fixed into a spiritual dogma and few seem determined to help themselves only if the mental cost is not too great. A lot of Humanity does not want to be saved or helped - thank you very much! We throw the life ring to the drowning man and he declines! He'd rather die than be wrong or consider a new way forward. Are we helping those that do not want help? I'd say "Not yet". Let's help those that are Seekers - that are listening. Thereafter maybe the non-seekers will wonder if they are missing something. Then we might step in. So yes - let's look to helping those that do not want help. Long term. *---Why though? - why help Humanity? Suchness* Given that plenty of people don't want our help :- "Someone went to an awful lot of trouble to set this Human Game up" as Paloma might say. It seems a shame to press the delete key. Is Humanity in need of saving ? No Is Humanity in need of saving ? Yes! *--My position* Suffering in a dream is still suffering I feel and empathise when people - all types (above) of people suffer. Later when he experienced mental suffering (I forget) I found it hard to fully empathise - he was never trying to help himself. Is he worth saving? Yes! Clearly I feel Humanity is worth saving! I don't have a species bias. As you might tell even I, the Holy One (hahaha) have trouble with empathy. It's easy to fall out of love with Humanity sometimes. Especially as many (see above) do not want to help themselves solve their problems if it challenges a routine or belief system. I don't feel properly human as you know. There's more to it. So the "delete key" is not an affront to my human species loyalties. But I wouldn't be happy about it - far from it. *To Conclude* I'd say to those that could ; "Delete humanity if you wish". But it's a Game that seems worthy to play in for humans, and for outsiders to watch with interest at least. It might be one of the most exciting games available!?
